History

The Texas A&M Triathlon Team was founded in the Fall of 2003 with a membership of just over 10 students. The team has grown steadily into one of the largest collegiate triathlon teams in the nation.

In addition to bringing beginners to the sport of triathlon, the team's focus every year is representing Texas A&M at the USAT Collegiate Club National Championships. In 2015, our men's team placed 3rd for the combined Olympic and draft legal scores. In 2017 the women won 4th for that score. In 2016 and 2017, the team accomplished an overall 4th place finish!

We are constantly seeking out new talent to help us get closer to the top step of the podium!

Our Members

Members include both undergraduate and graduate students with a love for the sport of triathlon. Our athletes compete all over the United States and at all levels of ability.  Some members join the team without ever having raced a triathlon, while others are veterans with Ironman finishes.

Whatever experience a member has, we have the resources to help become better and faster. And most importantly, there's no shortage of good times. We offer beginner-friendly educational sessions to aid any new members and help any transitions into the sport.

There are no tryouts to join our team and no prior experience is required!
